Remember, there will be no storytimes the week of June 29th- July 4th. Baby Cuddle Time, Toddler Tales and Preschool Story Hour will resume the week of July 6th. You can find more details on July storytime dates and times on our Calendar of Events.

These events are open to all ages. Children under 11 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Star Wars Event - Come in costume!

 

Tipp City Tea-Totalers

Wednesday, July 8, 6:30pm – 7:30pm

A fun lesson in reading tea leaves. Registration requested.

 

PAWS to Read

Saturday, July 11, 11am – 12pm

If your child is a reluctant reader, bring him in to read aloud to a certified therapy dog. A great way to practice reading skills in a fun, non-judgmental environment.

 

Krafts with Kelly

Saturday, July 11, 2pm – 3pm

Creating beads and picture frames with magazines. Registration requested.

 

Family Events - Family Movie Night

Tuesday, July 14, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

These events are open to all ages. Children under 11 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Dolphin Tale 2 - Rated PG

 

CANCELLED-Elementary Activities- Be a Planeteer

Wednesday, July 15, 2:00pm – 3:30pm

For Children who have completed Kindergarten through Fourth grades. Be a Planeteer with Captain Planet- Glen Helen Raptor Center Presentation. Space is limited, registration required.

 

Paws to Read with our Dog Therapy Friends

Tuesday, July 21, 6pm – 7pm

Share a story with Belle, a certified therapy dog, and some of her friends in the Children’s Room. If you have a reluctant reader, this is a great way to get them to practice their reading with no pressure and no judgment. No registration required.

These events are open to all ages. Children under 11 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult to participate.

 

Krafts with Kelly

In case you missed July 11, this is a second offering of modular origami with Beth. If you came on July 11, there will be a second, more difficult piece for you to make. Registration requested.

For Children who have completed First through Fourth grades. What’s it Like to Fly like Superman? - with WACO Air Museum. Space is limited, registration required.

 

Lego Club

A different challenge every time. For children who have completed K-4th Grades. Please register.

 

Movie Marvels

Saturday, July 25, 2pm – 4pm

Viewing “The Notebook” from 2005, based on the book by Nicholas Sparks. Free admission and popcorn!
